DMIT's Network Lineup: There's More to It Than CN2 GIA
Ask most people about DMIT and they'll say "CN2 GIA" and stop there. But the actual routing options are a bit more involved than that. Founded in 2017, DMIT has positioned itself around premium-route VPS hosting, with data centers in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Japan, and a few other locations. Its product tiers are differentiated primarily by network quality, and there are three routes worth knowing:
CN2 GIA is China Telecom's flagship backbone โ optimized routing in both directions, reasonably stable during peak evening hours, and latency from the LA node tends to stay within an acceptable range. It's the expensive option, but among premium VPS providers, the stability is as reliable as it gets in this category.
AS9929 comes up almost as often. It's still within the China Telecom family but runs on a separate backbone. Some benchmarks show 9929 matching or coming close to CN2 GIA on latency and stability during certain periods, sometimes at a lower price point. That said, the real-world gap between them varies depending on the node and the time of day โ I'd look at actual MTR data from the specific data center you're targeting rather than just comparing names.
CMIN2 is China Unicom's premium route. It tends to perform best for Unicom and China Mobile users; China Telecom users don't benefit quite as much. If your audience or your own ISP is primarily Unicom, this one's worth paying attention to.
Hong Kong and Japan nodes have an obvious geographic advantage โ lower baseline latency than Los Angeles, almost by definition. The tradeoff is cost and availability. Stock on these nodes runs thin regularly, so check current inventory before assuming you can grab one.
Where DMIT Actually Makes Sense
The routing quality shapes everything about where DMIT fits. Its strongest use case is any scenario where you need reliable access from mainland China to an overseas server.
WordPress sites and content-heavy blogs are the obvious example. Page load speed and backend responsiveness are directly tied to network quality, and CN2 GIA or 9929 can make a perceptible difference compared to a standard route โ especially for readers based in China, or for anyone managing the server via SSH from there.
WooCommerce stores are similar. Database queries, checkout flows โ these are latency-sensitive, and a stable connection reduces the kind of friction that turns into cart abandonment. Docker deployments, self-hosted APIs, and custom toolchains all fall into this category too. If network reliability is part of the architecture's requirements, DMIT's positioning fits.
LisaHost Is Solving a Different Problem

Unicom users are better served by CMIN2. Mobile users need to check the specific return-path routing to see whether there's any optimization in place. Trying to rank these routes in the abstract isn't that useful โ find a looking glass or MTR test from the node you're targeting and judge from actual data.
On Pricing
DMIT sits in the mid-to-high range among premium VPS providers. CN2 GIA and Hong Kong node plans tend to be on the pricier end; 9929 plans typically come in a bit lower. Check the official site for current pricing โ DMIT adjusts its inventory and rates more frequently than most. Don't rely on cached screenshots or forum posts.
